This next release on Liquid Lab is a very special one for us because it is brought to you by Chug. We came across Rob's talent through his tutoring with Heist and his debut release Bittersweet featured on our very first Co-Lab Recruits EP almost a year ago. Recruits was created to give opportunities to Jim's students to release music and there will be more later in the year so watch this space.
Simply put, 'Bittersweet was the inspiration for Liquid Lab and the Fat Pauly's EP was the first project we started working on for our new label so to be able to finally release it is amazing.
Chug has in fact been in and around the music scene for many years and the EP gets its title from the first every club Rob Dj'd in back in 1999 called Fat Pauly's in his hometown Norwich. He is a real music lover and that certainly comes across in his own compositions that are laden with inspirations from uplifting house, soul, hip hop, jazz and of course dnb and jungle.
The Fat Pauly's EP delivers all of the above and we are so pleased to share it with you.
