Ben Eastman grew up just outside of Portland,OR. Starting his musical journey as a trumpet player High School. Performing in Jazz Band and others. Not satisfied with the environment and the progress of his playing he left band and started to learn guitar and bass. Joining his friend Dylan they formed a Reggae Band named “Waiting in Vain”. They released one full length album “Bonfire”, the lead single being Cayla Davis penned (Drums) “Karma”. The song received minor play on local radio station 94.7 FM. They rocked many shows around PDX at venues like Hawthorne Theatre and The Satyricon. After several years the band called it quits and Ben continued on making and creating music himself. Since 2010 he has released 10+ full length albums. Creating music for short films, full length features, radio shows, podcasts and more. Ben took the pandemic downtime to create music between the years of ‘20-‘22 which turned into 3 Full Length Albums - each with different themes and all designed to be scores for imaginary films. Ben finished out that year with the double records of “Wanton Endangerment” and “Night Music” , the latter producing one of his most streamed songs (“Night Rider”) since its release. In 2023 he released his 2 most popular records “Badlands” and “Nostalgia”. Both receiving rave reviews and charting as the most listened music in his catalogue. His next releases are a film score on 1/26 and a full length release entitled “Night Music Vol II” on 2/16.
